He began his studies at the Faculty of Medical Sciences “Victoria de Girón” belonging to the University of Medical Sciences of La Habana in 2007. During his career he participated in various scientific events of local, province and national character obtaining relevant awards in all the stages. He occupied various management positions within student organization being elected as president of the Federation of the University Students of the University of Medical Sciences.
He obtained outstanding grades for which he received the “Gold title” of the Faculty of Medical Sciences “Victoria de Girón” and the condition of the best integral graduation in all the University of Medical Sciences of La Habana in his generation (2013).
After his studies he was granted direct access for residency in general surgery in the hospital with national reference “Hermanos Ameijeiras” in La Habana, which ran for 1 year.
In August 2014 he decided to move to Spain where he started working for the health service in the Balearic Islands as general and emergency doctor in the health centre in Can Picafort and in the medical centre of social security of Alcudia, at the same time he worked for the company Juaneda Urgencias Medicas (JUM) for 1 year.
In September 2016 he started working in the hospital Clinica Balear as “medico de planta” and emergency.
In April 2017 he decided to finish his work in JUM and start work for the company International Medical Services where he still works as medical coordinator. In April of the same year he started working in the Clinic Port d’Andratx in the team of Doctor Barbara Reinke.and in 2018 he founded Doctor Mallorca with the objective of bringing all of his experience and give the highest standards of quality service.
